SO WHAT ARE GEL EXTENSIONS ?
Gel extensions are the NEW leading industry system. Gel Extensions are fully covered tips that come in pre-shaped form, meaning less filing and less time for application. They require little to no filing, are odourless and extremely durable yet gentle on the natural nail, meaning your clients can get anywhere from 3-5 weeks of retention! 2. Hygiene and Sanitation
- We cover the four stages of disinfection and sterilisation, including an in-depth tutorial, what chemicals are required to achieve successful disinfection, and autoclave sterilisation.
3. Nail Anatomy
- Dive deep into the complete anatomy of the nail. Covering all areas of the nail you will be working with, different nail types and shapes, what it's responsible for, and how to look after this multi-functioning magical system.
4. Skin Anatomy
- Investigate the living tissue surrounding the nail and what it's responsible for and how we can aid in its protection.
5. Nail Infections, Diseases, and Deformities
- Become fully educated about Infections, Diseases, and Deformities that can occur on the nail. Here we assess if you can or can't perform services on these clients and what to do if you encounter any of these situations. 6. Client Consultation Forms

- Nail a flawless application with in-depth video analysis and demonstration of our first method of application. We cover troubleshooting different client nail types to ensure you're 100% confident when your client sits in your chair.

- Because not every client is the same, we cover a second method of application for you to be able to service a wider variety of clients.
12. Shaping
- Gel extensions are a pre-shaped system that takes the guesswork out of filing… but there are times you will need to reduce the length and reshape the nails, which is why we have added a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD in combination with practical videos of how to achieve a flawless, even finish.
