Terms of service
A.) All booking quotes/costs are subject to change if the design/appointment type selected does not cohere with the design being created. Price may change if the incorrect add-ons are not selected when booking. This includes but is not limited to shape changes, rebalances, soak-offs, and base colour changes.
B.) A $60 non-refundable deposit will be taken when booking that is deducted from your total service cost of the day. This deposit is transferable to the rescheduled appointment if 48 hours notice is given, anything less than that the deposit can not be transferred and another one will be required for you to reschedule. This is NON REFUNDABLE and when booking you agree and understand it will not be returned.
Please ensure if you have to cancel your appointment before the 48 hour period and you have paid the deposit that you contact Madeline before proceeding to cancel so your deposit can be held as a credit. Failure to do so may result in loss of your deposit. If you wish to reschedule before the 48 hour period you can do so via your confirmation email and your deposit will transfer across with your new appointment.
C.) 48 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE in every circumstance and is not transferable within this period.
D.) All appointments that are canceled on the day require the balance of the appointment to be paid as a cancellation fee. This will be automatically charged to the customer's card. Said customer agrees to and understands that card details are kept on file by a secure payment system and this charge will be performed by a third party if the customer was to cancel within this time. Said customer understands and agrees to the cancellation fee. If the customer has not provided a card details an invoice will be sent failure to honour this legally binding agreement will result in a BAN from re-booking.
E.) If you are 15 minutes late to your appointment, the appointment will be forfeited, the deposit non-transferable, and the balance of the appointment charged to your card on file as a late fee/ cancellation fee.
F.) NO-SHOW appointment deposits are non-transferable and be charged the balance of the appointment amount for a cancellation/no-show fee. This will result in a BAN from the CLAW QUEEN booking system and no future appointments accepted.
G.) It is the customer’s responsibility to log in and reschedule any appointments they wish to outside the 48-hour cancellation window. Please log in via your confirmation email and schedule your appointment accordingly. All available booking times will be shown. Madeline Hardacre / Claw Queen’s working hours can be found on the booking site.
H.) A $60 out-of-hours, after-hours, weekend, and public holiday rate will apply to your booking if Madeline / Claw Queen and the customer have come to an arrangement for an appointment to be within these times/ dates. In the case that public holiday dates are open to book, these charges still apply and it is the client’s responsibility to check said dates before booking.
I.) In the event that a deposit was not paid for an appointment and that appointment is canceled within the 48 hour period. Your card will be automatically charged for the deposit or if the cancellation was on the day the full appointment cost will be changed as a cancellation fee.
J.) It is to the client's discretion to communicate with Madeline/ Claw Queen if they are not satisfied with their service before their appointment is complete. Change of mind or dissatisfaction expressed after they have left the salon will result in a fee charged to be altered.
K.) Madeline Hardacre / Claw Queen reserves the right to refuse service to anyone if she feels necessary.
L.) Madeline Hardacre / Claw Queen will refuse service to anyone who enters her premises who ARE SICK.
M.) NAIL REPAIRS: Are complimentary within the first 3 days if it is determined the mistake was made on the technician’s behalf . If the correct aftercare has not been followed repairs will be required to be paid for. THE COST OF REPAIRS IS $1 PER MINUTE.
E.G YOUR REPAIR APP GOES FOR 20 MINUTES THE COST IS $20.
N.) I understand Madeline Hardacre / Claw Queen does not remove other salon work unless discussed previously. Please come to your appointment with bare nails if your previous work is not performed by Madeline Hardacre / Claw Queen. Removal of other salon work will incur an additional $60 fee at said time of appointment.
CLIENT DECLARATION
I the client declare that I have no warts, exposed nail bed, or trauma present on my skin or nails that will inhibit my service being performed. This includes open wounds, severe eczema, or dermatitis. If such conditions are found to be present at the time of said appointment I acknowledge Madeline Hardacre under her business Claw Queen will not be able to perform such service and my full appointment cost will require to be paid.
I the client understand that I must follow the aftercare instructions on the aftercare card supplied by Madeline Hardacre to ensure the longevity of my nails and it's my responsibility to take care of them once I leave the salon.
I the client declare that if I am under the age of 18 I have informed and made my parents/guardian aware of said appointment, procedures, terms & conditions, and liability waivers that I have agreed to. By doing so you are declaring their full consent for this appointment and all future appointments.
I declare I am aware this is a legally binding agreement.
2. COVID SICKNESS POLICY
In the event that you are sick please reschedule your appointment. Cancelation policies are still enforced if this rescheduling is within the 48 hour cancelation policy window.
If said client presents to their appointment with visible symptoms Madeline Hardacre will cancel this appointment and no services will be performed with the full appointment cost charges as a cancellation fee.
There are no plus ones to attend said appointment.
3. LIABILITY WAIVER
By agreeing to the waiver and checking the checkbox below I acknowledge and authorise Madeline Hardacre under her business CLAW QUEEN to perform this service on the day of my booked appointment and for all future appointments I book.
I the client understand that adverse reactions, allergies and or sensitivities including but not limited to itchiness, redness, blistering, swelling , Onocholysis , Onychomadesis, Paronychia, Onychia ,Onychomycosis, White fungus and PSEUDOMONAS can occur.
I the client understand that Madeline Hardacre and her business CLAW QUEEN accept no responsibility or liability for any of the conditions above, adverse reactions, allergies and or sensitivities that occur during any appointment attended and declare that these results are at the fault of my own and not Madeline Haradcre and her business CLAW QUEEN.
NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be issued in this instance as no determination of client sensitivities can be tested or predicted by the technician. It is the clients responsibility to have prior compound testing done by a dermatologist to diagnose such sensitivities and allergies prior to any appointments .
In the case of any of the conditions listed above, adverse reactions, allergies and or sensitivities a doctor or dermatologist will always be recommended. Nail Technicians can not diagnose or treat such issues.
CLAW QUEEN does not take responsibility for damages caused to the nail if the client chooses to rip, pull or bite them off.
CLAW QUEEN does not take responsibility for any damages caused to the nail outside her salon. Once you leave the salon your nails are your responsibility to maintain and care for.
CLAW QUEEN takes no responsibility for any issues such as breakage, lifting, onycholysis or poor retention. It is recommended nail enhancements should not be left on for over 3 weeks.
I hereby acknowledge that I release any and all persons representing Madeline Hardacre and her business Claw Queen from any and all claims , damages, demands, action and cause of action arising from any service provided.
